At Rocket Doodle cookies, we are inspired by the joy that cookies bring. This journey started with my first batch of cookies following the recipe on the back of a bag of chocolate chips.

I was 8 years old. Since then, I tried many, many, many recipes and ultimately developed my own. They are my perfect dessert; they fill care packages, they are hostess, birthday and Christmas gifts, they welcome people to the neighborhood or bring brightness to someone on a dark day. Making a beautiful and delicious cookie is my way to say you are loved and you are special. Rocket & Doodle are my boys nicknames; they fill my heart and bring so much joy to my life. I hope these cookies will do the same for you.

Inspiration

My cookie journey began a long time ago, with a Nestle Toll House recipe and a very young baker’s determination for an afternoon treat.  After countless trials and taste tests, my very own recipe was born. At Rocket Doodle, a cookie is so much more than a cookie. They are a hand-made gift that says you are loved and you are special. They are my perfect dessert; they fill care packages, they are hostess, birthday and Christmas gifts, they welcome people to the neighborhood, and they are a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.

The names Rocket & Doodle are my boys’ nicknames; they fill my heart and bring so much joy to my life. I hope these cookies will do the same for you.

    The baking process begins long before cookies go into the oven. Rocket Doodle Cookies are made with only the highest quality ingredients, including artisanal flour and chocolate, and locally sourced organic eggs and butter.  Each small batch is mixed by hand and creates the most special cookie worthy of you and your friends and family.

    Rocket Doodle Cookies are created with the strong belief that food, security, and love are closely intertwined. Food connects us to memories, to people and places. Because cookies figured so prominently and so happily to my childhood, the role of texture and smell and flavor should be memorable. But above all, Rocket Doodle Cookies are about connecting with people, speaking a language through the craft of baking that communicates love, appreciation, kindness, and gratitude.
